Heart of Kentucky United Way understands that you really want to make a difference right here in our communities. We want to help you do that. Our experience tells us that the best way to help the most people is to focus on the underlying causes of the most serious problems.

Focused on Critical Issues

Heart of Kentucky invests your contribution in children, seniors, and families. Through our Community Partners, you make it possible for a crime victim to receive comfort and advocacy in the middle of the night. You open your arms to a little girl with special needs who is learning how to walk and talk. You provide shelter, counseling and a fresh start for a family living with domestic violence. You want to reach our neighbors facing times of need and crisis.

HKUW would like to recognize Farmers National Bank for their ongoing investment in the effort to create lasting change. Employees of the bank create a variety of fundraisers such as sticking people on the wall with duct tape, bake sales, chili lunches, dress down Fridays, and inventing games to increasing participation. From nurturing children and youth to promoting health and healing, FNB supports HKUW's mission to bring people and resources together to solve our communities' most serious social problems.
