Day of Caring
Heart of Kentucky United Way established a Day of Caring over fifteen years ago. Today, we recognize needs in our communities and recruit volunteers to create dramatic change over the course of a single day. Hundreds of volunteers gather to tackle projects for senior citizens, mentor children waiting for a Big Brother, and address environmental concerns by picking up trash along the banks of Herrington Lake, a source of drinking water in central Kentucky.

Seasons of Caring
Advocating takes true resolve, commitment and direction. Heart of Kentucky United Way is poised to create a path of advocacy tailored to you and your company. We are extending an invitation to community members to gather ‘round the table and work together to support education, improve access to health care and help families become more financially stable.
